Business, as usual.

Luckily I was assigned again to participate on some of the further site works of the company, of which meant more business trips for me.

I got consigned alone though during my second visit -- mostly charging every step I took to experience as I was completely clueless for half of the time I spent working down there. Talk about steep learning curves! It was fun though.

Anyway, here are the shots I took during my stay in Christchurch.

There's nothing really much to see within the city centre as you may have known already. It seriously felt like a ghost town by 6pm - no people in sight, chilly winds, etc. The Christchurch Cathedral was way out of sight so my idea of creating a diptych of before-and-after images I took 2 years ago was not possible.

Instead, I took advantage of the scrumptious meals generously paid by the company. One notable visit was in She Chocolat, the best chocolaterie I've visited so far. Hot chocolate drinks and a couple of specially crafted chocolate treats made my day before setting off for Auckland.

Oh, sweet days!

And of course, I (only) took some nighty and starry landscapes since I spent more work hours than I'd normally would.
